Adam van Koeverden

Adam is one of Canada’s most decorated athletes and a true champion in the sport of Kayak. He first got international recognition winning a bronze medal in the K-1 1000m at the 1999 world junior championships in Croatia, and transitioned to the senior ranks quickly by winning a silver at the 2003 world championships in Georgia in the K-1 1000m. At the 2004 Summer Olympics Van Koeverden won two medals, including a gold in the K-1 500m and a bronze in the K-1 1000m. He was Canada’s flag bearer at the closing ceremonies and was later awarded the Lou Marsh Trophy as Canada’s top athlete of 2004. Since then he has gone on to win several World Championships and beat his own world record in the K-1 500m at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Despite spending a significant amount of time travelling the world as a Right to Play ambassador and breaking his ankle on a trip to the Grand Canyon earlier in the year, Adam was still able to claim bronze in the K-1 1000m at this year’s World Championships. Adam started using 7SYSTEMS several months ago after it was recommended to him by some fellow Olympians.

“I’m always skeptical about what supplements claim they can do, but I really like 7SYSTEMS. In fact I’m hooked. I’ve been using it now for over 3 months and I feel great. 7SYSTEMS helps me kick the jetlag I experience travelling for training and racing and is keeping me healthy…that’s exactly what I want my supplement to do for me.”
